Mary focuses her practice on water rights and water resource management.  Her clients include farmers and orchardists, homeowners associations, municipalities, conservation districts, and nonprofit environmental groups.

Professional:

  • Advise clients on the extent and validity of their water rights.
  • Represent clients in water right changes and transfers before County Conservancy Boards and the Department of Ecology, and advise clients on acquisition of new water rights.
  • Represent Washington Water Project of Trout Unlimited in acquiring water rights for instream flow.
  • Advise conservation districts and watershed planning groups regarding water resource management and water banks and exchanges.
  • Assist clients in preparation of Environmental Impact Statements for water resource programs and projects.
