Maia Bellon Joins Cascadia
Cascadia Law Group is excited to announce that Maia Bellon will join the firm on February 1, 2020. In addition to practicing environmental and natural resource law, Maia will work on environmental policy development and problem solving with Cascadia's newly-formed consulting affiliate, Cascadia Policy Solutions.
Maia has been the director of the Washington State Department of Ecology since 2013, where she served as one of Governor Inslee's closest advisors on climate, water, toxics, and air quality issues. She is the longest-serving Ecology director in state history and led the agency to great achievements in carbon emission reduction, water resources, and water quality.
