Matt Love Joins Cascadia

Cascadia Law Group is excited to announce that Matt Love has joined the firm as a partner. Matt’s practice will continue to focus on assisting clients in permitting and litigation matters involving federal and state natural resource and environmental law. The depth of his experience coupled with his knowledge of the needs of our clients makes Matt an exceptionally strong addition to our highly regarded environmental law practice.

Matt brings 25 years’ experience representing utilities, ports, owners and operators of hydroelectric projects and other energy projects, and state and local governmental entities on issues arising under the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Federal Power Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Coastal Zone Management Act, and Indian law. 
 
Prior to joining Cascadia, Matt was a partner at Van Ness Feldman, where he was co-coordinator of the firm’s Land, Water & Natural Resources practice group. Matt has previously served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice and an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington. Matt is consistently recognized as one of the best environmental attorneys in the region by Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers.
